  • A Kashmiri Teens Reckless Turn to Tragedy

A Kashmiri Teen’s Final Turn: The Reckless Path to Tragedy" is a poignant tale of Arman Koul, a privileged teenager from an elite Kashmiri family whose life spirals out of control due to reckless indulgence. Gifted an SUV at 16, Arman becomes consumed by his love for speed and stunts, cheered on by his friends and enabled by his overly permissive parents. One fateful night, Arman attempts a dangerous driving challenge with his two closest friends. The stunt ends in tragedy—one friend loses his life, the other is left permanently disabled, and Arman survives with severe injuries and the unbearable weight of guilt. The story is a powerful reminder of the devastating consequences of unchecked freedom, misplaced pride, and teenage recklessness, set against the backdrop of Kashmir’s silent, grieving valleys.

  • The Dr. Privilege of Paradise

Set in the picturesque valleys of Kashmir, the story humorously chronicles the life of Shaban, a boy from a modest background whose family possesses a category certificate that transforms their fortunes. Thanks to this certificate, Shaban secures admission to a top medical college, bypassing the fierce competition his peers endure. His journey continues as the category card helps him secure a postgraduate seat and a lucrative government job, elevating him and his family to a life of luxury. Shaban’s family moves to a posh locality in Srinagar, enjoying lavish amenities and foreign vacations while their children receive elite education and every imaginable privilege. Despite their affluence, the family continues to rely on the category card for opportunities, passing it down to the next generation. The story raises a critical question: why should privileges designed for the underprivileged continue to benefit those who are now living lives of luxury? Each time the system favors the "privileged-unprivileged," it denies a truly underprivileged student their rightful chance, perpetuating inequality. Blending humor, satire, and Kashmiri cultural charm, the tale delivers a poignant moral: reserved categories must uplift the deserving underprivileged, not create dynasties of privilege that take away opportunities from those who truly need them.
