I can't believe my boyfriend David has stopped calling me! I stayed at his place over a week ago, it was our first time sleeping together. We were at secondary school together, i really fancied him, when he kept trying to ask me out, my gut feeling kept saying no. He called me many times to ask me out, i kept putting it off. He dated another girl after a while, i was a little bit jealous and i still didn't get the courage to say i liked him. I would see him and her walking the school hand in hand, and felt bad for not giving him a chance. He has alot of friends, one is creepy, he stares right at you with dark eyes, creepy smile. I continue to study and hang out with my mates, I find the guys at school very immature and only want one thing from the girls, it's not just a kiss.

I was hanging outside our old school with my school friend Susan, she's so funny, likes to act silly and she makes me laugh. It's our last time hanging out together, I have college in a few weeks, we're going to different colleges as i want to study to be a psychiatrist and she wants to be a hairdresser, so we won't be able to hang out so much. There he was David was walking alone towards us, I have'nt seen seen him for a while since we left school in fact, i called out, "Hi, David, your not with your girlfriend?"

David steps closer infront of me, built like a rugby player, soft blue eyes staring back at me. "Hello, I'm not with her anymore."

I look up at him, I sit on the wall nervously. "I'm sorry to hear that, you have been with her mostly through our school days." My friend stopped goofing around, she walks up to us. "Hello David, how have you been?"

"I'm okay, thanks for asking. What are you two doing hanging out around the school? I thought you would be glad it's over and stay away from it." I snap jokingly, " we are , I could ask you the same question, what are you doing around here? You miss it and trying to get back in or something?"

David grins and replies, hell no, I'm so happy to see the back of this place, I'm seeing a mate that lives around the back of the school field. I can hang out with you for a bit, if you two don't mind?" I reply excitedly "we don't mind at all, do we Susan?" Susan replies "we don't mind." She walks a little bit further away, starts goofing around again, making us laugh. David turns and faces me, staring with his sparkling eyes, smiling like a Cheshire cat. I feel uncomfortable and i ask curiously, "what are you doing staring at me like that?" David replies sweetly, "I haven't stopped fancying you, do you have a boyfriend?" I pause, then reply, " I don't have a boyfriend, I'm too busy thinking of going to college. Have you dated anyone since your girlfriend from school?"

David replies,"a couple of girls, I don't connect with them, we didn't have anything in common. Will you go on a date with me now?" I think hard, we're not at school anymore, maybe I should give him a chance. "Okay, I will go out with you." He has the biggest smile, he snaps cheerfully, "finally you say yes, I have been waiting years for you to say yes." I feel hot, flushed in the cheeks. I twirl my hair out of my face. "Why me, why do you fancy me?"

He looks at me for a few seconds, and replies, "when you smile your cute dimples appear, when you get nervous you play with your hair. Like your doing right now." I stop twirling my hair. My friend walks over, and says," it's getting late, I have to get going home, are you coming Rachel?" I stare at David and says, "i will stay here for a little bit longer, I will catch up with you another time."

My friend grins, she replies, "okay, I will talk to you soon, goodbye David, take care of yourself." David looks up at her and replies, "thanks, you too." My friend walks away, leaving me behind with my school crush.

David gazes into my eyes and says, "can I kiss you?" I reply softly, "yes, you can." I'm so nervous, he leans in and we have our first kiss. He's a good kisser, my knees feel wobbly, good job I'm sat down on a wall. As long as I don't get too loose and fall back like humpty dumpty, that would be embarrassing. We stop kissing and I'm still sat on the wall, i am safe for now. He glares at me and asks curiously, "why did you keep saying no to me at school? I thought from the way you kept looking at me in class, you would want to go out with me."

I explain nervously, "all the lads at school was after one thing, I was so nervous to say yes to you and you would only want to have sex with me then dump me. I liked you alot, I didn't want something that embarrassing to happen to me while I'm at school." He takes hold of my hand gently and reasures me, "I wouldn't of done that, I really did want to go out with you." I feel an idiot and I reply, "here's your chance now." He replied cheerfully, "yes I am happy you finally said yes. Come to mine this Saturday for a few drinks, there's only a few people there." I think about it and reply excitedly, "okay sounds good!" He kisses me again.

It's sunday morning, i had sex with David for the first time last night after having drinks. He was my first aswell. I wake up, he is gone. My nightmare has become a reality. I search the upstairs of the house, he's nowhere to be seen. His friend's are spread out all over his living room floor, i storm out of the house trying not to wake them up, i walk down the road, heading for home in tears.

A few week later, no calls nothing from him since that night. It's his loss, im glad im not still at school. Just what I was afraid of. I will go see my new friend Julie i have met at college, . I'm walking up a long road, my ex-boyfriend's friend Mike is walking on the opposite side of the road. I hope he doesn't notice me.

"Hello Rachel!"

He's noticed me. Oh no he's walking over to me. He gives me the creeps! I'm going to keep walking.

Mike stands in front of me, I wish he didn't!

"Hi, Mike! I can't stop and chat I must go."

"Come on, you can stay and chat with me!"

I don't like how he's looking at me.

"I must go, let me pass please!" Why can't he just leave.

"You know you want to kiss me! You had my friend!" He's in my face, I'm really scared.

"Please, let me pass! I'm not with your friend anymore, I'm not interested in you. Please let me pass!"

"Don't be like that, I only want a kiss!"

"Get away from me!" I brush past him, I can't stop running up the road to my friend's house I'm shaking. I knock on the door, my friend answers.

"Hello Rachel, come inside. Are you okay?"

I step inside Julie's house.

"No, I'm not. My ex-boyfriends friend just stopped me on the way here, he was in my face asking for a kiss. He terrified me!"

"That's horrible! Do you want me to call your dad? Or the police?"

We enter the living room.

"No, I want to forget it! Hopefully I won't be seeing him again!"

"OK, I will make you a cup of tea. Calm your nerves."

"Thank you!"

My friend walks into the kitchen. I hope I don't see him again. Maybe I should get my dad to pick me up, I don't think I could handle another moment with him in my face.

"Here you are, drink this cup of tea. You still haven't heard from David?"

"No, I don't understand it. I thought the night went well."

"If he has a friend like him, you're better off without him!"

I sip my cup tea. I'm calming down.

"You're right, if I was still with him, his friend would be hanging around us too. Seeing how he was today, I'm glad I can stay away!"

I'm sat at my till in the supermarket that I work in, to my surprise, Mike walks in here. what's he doing coming in with a uniform on? Oh no, I hope he's not working here too!

He's coming over to the till in front of me.

"Hello! I'm working here too."

Oh no, I don't believe this.

"Why here? Why this shop?"

"Don't be like that! we can see a lot of each other now."

"Leave me alone! Don't talk to me!"

I'm on a break; I walk into my supervisor's office.

"Anna, can I have a word please?"

"Yes of course, how can I help?"

"I can't work with Mike; he scared me one time when I was walking up the road! He's my ex-boyfriend's friend. Can you put him on other shifts when I'm not working, please!"

"I'm sorry to hear that! there's nothing I can do. He's working the hours he chooses, I can't force him to work different hours."

"OK, I just don't know what I'm going to do!"

It's the end of my shift, its dark, I start walking home.

"Hello, Rachel wait up!"

Oh no, Mike is riding up behind me on his bike, keep calm! I'm walking faster, I can hear my heart pumping fast. I need to get home.

"Rachel, wait up. How about you give me that kiss now?"

"Leave me alone!" I'm walking as fast as I can. He's got off his bike, there's bushes along here. I can walk faster!

"Leave me alone!"

He's grabbed me, he's pushed me to the ground.

"Get off me!"

"You know you want me! Don't fight it."

"Please get off me!"

I'm kicking and trying to push him off, I'm scared!

"Mike if you get off me, i will get my friend Julie you can have us both!"

"Really? That sounds awesome! OK, go get her."

He gets off me, I stand up while trembling.

"You wait here, i will go get her."

"OK, don't be too long."

I walk away, he's watching my every move. I'm walking further and further away, I start running towards my flat.

The next day, I'm at my till, Mike's nowhere to be seen. A young girl comes into our store, she walks up to my till.

"Is Mike working today?"

"No, he hasn't come in today."

"Good, he tried to rape me! If he's working here, I'm not shopping in this store!"

Oh my God, that could have been me.

"I'm sorry to hear that! Did you call the police on him?" The girl calms down.

"No, it's my word against him. I'm not shopping here if he stays."

I knock on my supervisor's door.

"Come in."

"Rachel how can I help?"

"I have something to tell you! A young girl came in and said Mike had tried to rape her, she won't come in our store if he's working here. I believe her, he tried it with me."

"That's horrible, you don't have to worry about him being here now, he was caught stealing. He won't be coming back."

I sigh with relief. Thank God.

"That's great news Anna! i will go back to work. Sorry I bothered you!"

"That's quite alright, I'm sorry that something bad happened to you! I hope you don't see him again."

"Thank you Anna, I hope I don't too."

It's good news he's not working here, he knows where I live. I must move.

I walk around the corner into my street, to my surprise it's my ex-boyfriend who didn't quite dump me, he just didn't contact me, I wander what he wants.

"David what do you want?"

David replies, "I'm sorry for leaving you in my room! I saw blood and thought I hurt you while we had sex, I panicked and I left, I'm so sorry. Then I didn't explain or call you. I'm sorry!"

"I don't care! You should have woken me and said something, you was my first and this is why i did'nt want to say yes to you at school. You have creepy friends. Mike tried to attack me and stalk me!"

"I'm sorry that happened to you! He did that to all my ex-girlfriends. He's not my friend, he's gone now. I didn't realise i was your first, lads was saying at school they had slept with you, which made me jealous, if i had known, I would not have left you like that."

"What do you mean he's gone now? I'm happy to hear that hes gone. You should'nt have left me like that, I don't care anymore. I have moved on."

""He's got himself arrested he won't be around for a long time."

"That's good news! I'm moving away, it doesn't matter now. I hope you have a good life; I won't be in it. I must go. Take care of yourself David." I walk away, feeling relieved and sad at the same time.

David calls out loudly "I am sorry!" He looks like he means it, I'm going to move forward not back.
